Smoky Mountain Horse Show Series

Show Information

 

SMHSS is growing and expanding into the greater Tri-State area! We will have a regular series of shows at both Tri-State as well as our Knoxville locations, and an indoor final show which will return for the third year at the Henry/Stafford East Tennessee Agricultural Exposition Center at Roane State in Harriman, TN.

 

 

Our show series will begin in March at both locations and will continue throughout the year leading up to our finals show in November.  Our series brings an exciting class line up with great prizes!  We will offer high point prizes at the end of each horse show in a few different categories such as Youth, Adult, English, Western, and Gaited and Young Horse (at shows offering those classes)!  We also will be offering the traditional Champion and Reserve placings for the English Divisions from Ground Rails all the way up to the 3ft+.

 

 

 

Our series is both beginner rider and green horse friendly.  Bring your friends and family to watch and cheer on our exhibitors. Concessions and vendors will be welcome and available at all locations!

Awards

 

• Ribbons will be awarded in all classes

• High-Point awards will be awarded at the end of the show

• Points towards year end placings in respective divisions will be awarded to SMHSS members. Riders may join at any point during the day of a show for their points to count. Points for new members are not retroactive if joining SMHSS after a show.
